PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (defend.ht) - With an affirmative vote from 71 members of the Lower House, a resolution on Friday calls for the immediate resignation of Ministers of Justice and Interior, Joshua Pierre-Louis and Thierry Mayard Paul, and the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Michel Brunache and the Attorney General in Port-au-Prince, Félix Léger, who are considered directly responsible for the illegal arrest of Deputy Arnel Bélizaire (Delmas & Tabarre/Veye-Yo).

71 elected officials of every political party, approved the resolution arguing that these state officials were "identified as the perpetrators of the abduction and sequestration" of the elected representative of Delmas & Tabarre.

"The authority of Pierre-Louis, Mayard Paul, Brunache and Léger is no longer recognized as of today" proclaims the text approved at an informal meeting attended by Deputy Bélizaire as agents from the National Penitentiary released him to the house in the afternoon.
